I made a Candy Corn Tree for a Halloween decoration for the house. All I needed was a clear jar/vase, some sticks from around the yard, a bag of candy corn and a hot glue gun.

Home made Candy containers
Supplies: Peanut/mixed nuts can, Tacky Glue, Scrapbook paper, ribbon, scissors.
Start with using an old peanut tin.
You want to make sure to clean out the inside of the can, in case the person receiving the gift has any peanut allergies.
Cut a piece of scrapbook paper wide enough to cover the outside of the container.
In most cases, the paper wont fit all the way around the tin. I usually can get away with cutting the strip in half. Which leaves a tiny gab.
Don't worry about this gap, you can cover it up with the ribbon. Glue a strip of ribbon around the Candy container. Make sure to leave enough room for the bow on top.
I usually put some tissue paper inside the tin and then fill it up with candy or cookies. This is a very cheap and easy way to make Christmas gifts/birthday presents. :)

Window shutter Jewelry holder
I saw something similar to this on Bling Junky's Facebook page, and thought I'd give it a try.
Just found a set of window shutters at the thrift shop, decoupaged scrapbook paper around the outside and added hooks for Necklaces.
This one is an extra one I made.

Flower Hair Clips
I've been trying to find ideas for little things to put together as gifts or even just for myself. I came up with these little hair clips.
I found everything I needed at Hobby Lobby. The flowers I found in the scrap-booking section, the clips were on a random end cap and I used a hot glue gun to secure everything together.
