DIY Jewelry Holder

Lace Photo Frame Jewelry Holder

I got the frame from a local thrift store for $3, The lace was an old curtain I purchased from good will for $4, the knobs I bought at Lowes for $3. I made 4 Jewelry holders out of the curtain, so it averaged to around $7 a Jewelry Holder.

Step 1: Cut the lace to fit the frame needed, I usually lay the lace on top of the frame and cut around the outside of the frame. This gives you about an inch and a half of extra fabric.
Step 2: Touch up any paint on the frame that needs touching up and let dry.
Step 3: Turn the frame over so you are looking at the back, fold the lace down twice and staple gun onto the inside of the frame. Make sure to aim the staple towards the outside edges of the frame. Continue this for all four sides of the frame.
Step 4: Drill holes in frame for the knobs. I have also used plain metal hooks, but I think the cabinet knobs look classy.
Step 5: Make sure there is a way to hang the Jewelry holder. If there isn't a hook on the frame already, you can purchase the hardware at your local hardware store.

So easy and makes for a great Christmas present!
